Abercrave and District Miners Welfare Hall was opened on Saturday 27th October 1928. It was established as a recreational facility for local mineworkers and their families.
The hall is run by the Abercrave and District Miners’ Welfare Institute and Recreation Ground, a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, on behalf of the inhabitants of Abercrave and surrounding area.
